Registration Fee
$75 – Due at the time of registration and will allow you access to our online database of au pairs so that you can begin your search.
Processing Fee
$300 – Due upon final selection of your au pair and secures your match.
Program Fee
$7,500 (the lowest in the U.S. au pair industry)
Covers all program costs and is due 30 days before your au pair’s arrival to the United States. An extended payment plan is available that will break the program fee up into four payments of $1875. The fee to enroll in the extended payment plan is $200. Additionally, there will be a $50 administrative fee added to each of the four payments.
Au Pair Stipend
$9,983.25 (divided into 51 equal weekly payments)
The minimum au pair stipend is $195.75 per week, paid directly to your au pair. This calculation is based on your au pair being with your family for a total of 51 weeks and includes the two-week paid vacation. Au pairs spend their initial week in the United States attending orientation and training sessions.
Education Contribution
$500
Host families are financially responsible for up to $500 of their au pair’s education expenses once their au pair arrives to their home. Depending on where in the country the host family lives, the required 6 credit hours can often be accomplished for less than the maximum $500 through local community colleges. Additionally, depending on when your au pair arrives, he/she should take classes in either a spring, summer or fall semester. Proof of having earned the higher education credits will be required by Premier Au Pair.
